Located in South Trinidad, directly on the Clarke Road in Penal we have a well prepared, flat parcel of land measuring 1 Acre - 3 Roods - 27 Perches, which is slightly less than 2 Acres.
At only 10 minutes drive from Penal, this property will make an excellent investment, or prime location to build a home.
Because of it's location and large size it is also suitable for commercial use. It is even large enough to accommodate a compound for storage of the equipment of a contractor. The area needs a good and spacious supermarket with lots of parking space, and the land is ideal for a commercial 2 level building. By placing the front of the building in the centre and build towards the back, you will create a lot of parking space to the front of the building, and to the back of the building you have more than enough space by the entrance to a stock room or ware house for the delivery trucks.
Of course, it does not have to be a supermarket, because of the location any other business can work as well. Further it is important to note that even though the land is below the road level, it is still very high up as it is next to the highest point in the area, and as you can see on the right side of the panorama picture the neighboring land is still further down, so there is absolutely no chance of any flooding on the land.
Directions: I am going from the Point of view that you know how to get to Penal from San Fernando.
On reaching Penal, you turn by the traffic light left into the Clarke Road. Of course you turn right when you come from the Siparia side.
Keep driving on the Clark Road for about 3 to 4 miles.
Along the way you will pass:
A dam past the Petrotrin office on your left, where the road is making an "S".
A few miles further after a long stretch the road will start to wind into some hills.
You will reach a single mast Cell tower on your right, and a bit further you will see another tripod mast Cell tower on the left, directly opposite a Sawmill.
Immediately after this Cell tower is a short trace named Hassanali Trace which leads to the little house on the hill you see in the pictures. Pass Hassanali Trace and drive just about 20 - 30 yards (metres) and you will see the land a bit lower down on the same (Left) side. There is a red gravel road leading into the land, which is presently more or less overgrown. You can find this gravel road directly opposite LP. #24, and a small wooden house with mailbox #426. There is also a chance that the road front is overgrown with high grass, in which case you might miss it sitting in the car, and as it is a very busy road and I advice to drive a bit further down and park in the grass on the left off the road just before a large (light green) house, and walk back up to the land.
